Fall update

“"How can we expect righteousness to prevail when there is hardly anyone willing to give himself up individually to a righteous cause. Such a fine, sunny day, and I have to go, but what does my death matter, if through us thousands of [youths] are awakened and stirred to action?” – Sophie Scholl

First off Greetings, from the Justice House of Prayer in San Diego,
Grace be to you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ

So Lael and I are happy to announce that we are pregnant. Lael has just started her 2nd trimester. We will find out in a few weeks what we are having.

This is truly exciting times that we are living in, and I can feel the presence of the Holy Ghost drawing me to root down deeper and deeper. The need for more hours spent in prayer and meditation daily. The longings of my heart to gaze and worship in the beauty of Holiness are intensifying.

I just got back a few weeks ago from UC Berkeley with the Justice House of Prayer San Diego; there we cried out for revival, repented of the sins of the Berkeley rebellion in the 60s. We worshiped and were threatened with being arrested. Our team stood ground, and continued, what could the enemy do? The cost had been counted, and our minds were fixed that He was worthy to receive our worship, right there at that place, in that moment.

October 23rd and the 24th we has a conference, the first since the one we had since March. The conference was called “God Cares” and it dealt with the heart of God towards abortion. What a success it was; we had several ministries come and round table with us plus Radiant Worship band came out from Kansas City. There was a great time of ministry alongside with Eddie Brown, and Matt Locket preaching.

At the end of the month, I will be traveling with the team for 2 weeks, preaching up and down the state of California an unfiltered gospel. We are in a dilemma; we have churches everywhere, but where is the power? Where is the conviction? Where is the Holiness? Media, commercialism, programs, luxuries, lights, pop worship with no fear of the Lord fill the house of God. I have become convinced that what the church needs, is not for church leaders to plan another program, but for the church leaders to weep between the porch and altar. Please keep us in prayer as we make our journey. The Justice House of Prayer team and I will be going in faith and as a testimony that God will provide shelter, food, and gas for the trip.

Lael and I had some prayers answered this month as God provided a car for us, with 3 months of paid insurance, DMV fees, new tires, and a timing belt. PRAISE THE LORD! My family and I thank you for your continued support of prayers and finances as we labor for the Lord in San Diego. Some specifics of upcoming needs are:

  • Continued prayer for strength, guidance, and boldness as we preach.
  • Another community house that Lael and I will be overseeing
  • Finances for continuing the ministry
  • Silk screen kit to start making shirts that speak a message to help aid the movement

Lael and I covet your prayers, and thank God for you and your love for us and for the ministry that we have been called to. God bless you and make His face shine on you.

Joshua and Lael Gielow
