{controversial faith}

You cannot love God if you do not have a fear of The Lord.

Those who do not know God, can not know the secrets of Heaven & Earth. It is only God who gives wisdom, worldly wisdom is false deception & a manipulation of the truth.
Even if we were to tell the world the mysteries of God (1 Tim. 3:16), they could not believe it unless it is the Spirit that reveals it to them.(Matt 16:15-17, John 17:1-26)

{Psalm 25:14}

The secret of the Lord is with those who fear Him, & He will show them his covenant.

{1 Corinthians 2:6-15}
However, we speak wisdom among those who are mature, yet not the wisdom of this age, nor of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing. But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God ordained before the ages for our glory, which none of the rulers of this age knew; for had they known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. But as it is written:

“ Eye has not seen, nor ear heard,
Nor have entered into the heart of man
The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”

But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God. These things we also speak, not in words which man’s wisdom teaches but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual. But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. But he who is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is rightly judged by no one.

{Luke 23:34}
Then Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do.”

{Colossians 1:25-27}
...to fulfill the Word of God, the mystery which has been hidden from ages from generations, but now has been revealed to His saints. To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the gentiles: which is Christ in you, the HOPE of glory.

{Ephesians 1:9}
Having made known to us the mystery of His will, according to His good pleasure purposes to Himself.

What is the Mystery?

{1 Timothy 3:16}
And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness:

God was manifested in the flesh,
Justified in the Spirit,
Seen by angels,
Preached among the Gentiles,
Believed on in the world,
Received up in glory.

{Matthew 11:25}
At that time Jesus answered and said, “I thank You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and prudent and have revealed them to babes.

{Matthew 16:23}
But He turned and said to Peter, “Get behind Me, Satan! You are an offense to Me, for you are not mindful of the things of God, but the things of men.”

These are only just a very small amount of Scripture that talks about the Mysteries of God. I haven't even touched on the fear of The Lord. I mainly wanted to bring to the table that if you do not know the Lord, you can not know Him. Sounds repetitive I know, but now that you've read it, repeat it out loud. Now then, just think about it, the world claims all these horrible attributes of God, why? They don't know God. Well that's because of the fine example us as His Bride- the Church has made. Therefore we don't really know Him. Scary thing to claim, but I can confidently say that I truly don't know God. More than anything, this grieves my heart. But I know it's a passage from glory to glory, I do what I don't want to do & I don't do what I want to do, even though I so desperately desire to follow the voice of my Shepard! Thanks to Jesus, though we are all reconciled to God forever as Romans 5 says! This is a journey folks, & it's only by God's amazing grace that we are able to make it another minute.
So now with all that said, let's pray & diligently seek after His face while we still have time!(Isaiah 55:6)
